Buying your woodland

How does it work?

My Woodland offers access to co-owned in UK woodland sites of between three and fifteen acres. Our woodland sites are carefully chosen to provide easy access to peaceful locations throughout the UK.

Each site has a pre-specified number of holdings to ensure all owners get maximum enjoyment from the  woods. The number of holdings varies according to the size of the woodland site, but everyone co-owns the entire woods together.

Single holdings are offered to individuals or couples and provide unlimited access to the woodland. We provide contracts in plain English so the buying process is simple. Holdings can be passed on to the next generation or sold via My Woodland, at any time, and are free from capital gains tax.

How does it work?

The investors are legal co-owners of each woodland site and agree to steward the woods according to a Woodland Management Plan that guarantees the preservation of the site.

We match owners to the most appropriate sites for their needs to ensure everyone can enjoy the woods as much as possible. Whether you want to preserve wildlife, try coppicing, plant new trees, watch birds and other wildlife, camp in the woods or simply enjoy your own private paradise with your friends and family, we will find the perfect site for you.
